Kevin Varisco (Founder/Owner) has always been passionate about workflow improvement and process optimization. In his first role as a Process Engineer for Air Liquide's E&C arm in Houston, TX, he saw the need to automate the population of engineering deliverables from the source of data, to mitigate human error, and save time and energy on manual, repetitive tasks.

Unaware of other solutions on the market, he built his own custom tool that reached into process simulation and equipment design tools to automatically transfer data for equipment datasheets, heat and material balances, equipment lists, and more.

As Kevin furthered his career by joining Technip, he was introduced to Aspen Basic Engineering, a workflow enhancement solution licensed by Aspen Technology. As an ABE administrator for Technip and later as a Solutions Consultant for AspenTech, Kevin has helped dozens of companies around the world achieve their goals of man-hour reduction, risk mitigation, improved project win-rate, and enhanced project quality and fidelity.

All together, Kevin has over a decade of ABE experience and is one of the world's foremost experts in Aspen Basic Engineering. Having spent almost his entire career in the E&C industry, he is also an expert on E&C workflows and project execution.

Kevin holds a B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Houston.
